By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our platform.

  1. Overview of VanCan

VanCan is a platform that connects RV and van travelers (“Guests”) with property owners offering parking spots (“Hosts”). VanCan facilitates the booking process but is not a party to the agreements made between Guests and Hosts.

  1. Eligibility

To use VanCan, you must: 1. Be at least 18 years old. 2. Provide accurate and truthful information during the signup process. 3. Comply with these Terms and any applicable laws or regulations.

  1. User Accounts • Account Creation: You must create an account to access certain features. Keep your login credentials secure and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. • Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for providing and maintaining accurate information on your account. • Account Suspension/Termination: VanCan reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to the platform.

  2. Booking and Payment • Booking Process: Guests can browse, book, and pay for parking spots listed by Hosts. All bookings are subject to availability. • Payment Handling: Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). By using these services, you agree to their terms. • Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellation and refund policies are set by Hosts. Guests and Hosts are responsible for resolving disputes related to cancellations.

  3. Host Responsibilities

As a Host, you agree to: 1. Accurately describe your property, including available amenities and restrictions. 2. Ensure the property is safe, clean, and compliant with local laws. 3. Honor confirmed bookings unless unforeseen circumstances arise.

Hosts are solely responsible for their property, and VanCan does not guarantee the accuracy of listings.

  1. Guest Responsibilities

As a Guest, you agree to: 1. Respect the property and comply with any rules set by the Host. 2. Leave the parking spot clean and free of damage. 3. Communicate with the Host in case of delays, cancellations, or issues.

Guests are solely responsible for their actions during their stay.

  1. Platform Usage • Prohibited Activities: You may not:

    1. Use the platform for illegal purposes.
    2. Post false, misleading, or harmful content.
    3. Engage in harassment or abusive behavior toward other users. • Content Ownership: Any content you post (e.g., reviews, photos) must not infringe on third-party rights. By posting content, you grant VanCan a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it.

  2. Fees and Taxes • Service Fees: VanCan may charge a service fee for bookings, which will be displayed during the booking process. • Taxes: Hosts are responsible for determining and collecting any applicable taxes (e.g., lodging or sales tax).

  3. Disclaimers

    1. Platform Role: VanCan provides a platform for Guests and Hosts to connect. We do not own, manage, or control properties listed on the platform.
    2. No Guarantees: We do not guarantee the availability, quality, or safety of listings. All bookings are made at your own risk.
    3. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, VanCan is not liable for any damages, including personal injury, property damage, or loss of profits arising from the use of our platform.

  4. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold VanCan, its employees, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising out of your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

  1. Changes to the Terms

VanCan reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or posted on the platform. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Utah. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the platform will be resolved in the courts of Salt Lake City, Utah.

VanCan may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms or other applicable policies.
